The session titles and chairs have been added to the section for the scientific program. Invitations are currently being sent for invited speakers and we hope to be able to finalize the scientific program soon.

Abstract information and submission

Guidelines for abstracts and submission

Abstracts must be submitted only on the conference website. Abstracts sent by e-mail, post or fax will not be accepted. During abstract submission, please indicate whether you would like an oral presentation or a poster presentation. The scientific committee will evaluate and select abstracts for oral presentation during the 9 sessions. All other accepted abstracts will be presented as posters. The deadline for submission of abstracts is February 15th 2018 11.59 PM CET. Notification of acceptance of abstract will be given by March 15th 2018.

Accepted abstracts will be published in online form in Basic and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology. Following requirements needs to be fulfilled for acceptance and publication of abstract:

  1. Presenting authors must register for the conference as soon as possible after being notified of acceptance of their abstract.
  2. Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  3. Titles should be entered in the “Abstract Title” field (not as part of the abstract) and should be shorter than 140 characters (including spaces).
  4. Abstract text should be entered in the “Abstract Body” section. The system will not allow you to enter more than 2000 characters (including spaces) in all fields. Abstracts cannot contain tables or figures.
  5. Authors’ names and institutions should be entered in the appropriate fields. The following data is needed for the “institution” field – name of the institution, city and country.
  6. The abstract should be informative, and structured as follows: Aim(s), method(s), result(s), conclusion(s).
  7. Abstracts should not contain references.
  8. Single space all text and do not leave blank lines. Use standard abbreviations. Place a special or unusual abbreviation in parenthesis after the full word the first time it appears. Use generic names of drugs.

Abstracts, that do not conform with the above requirements, will not be accepted.
